“ Love love love the Valley Inn. Neighborhood placed tucked out of the way. Always friendly people, and always good food. I found this little place through Miller Brewing friends who lunched here often. Daily specials, good soups and great service. Highly recommend. ”
“ Barb and Jim are the nicest. Amazing service. Great location near the Stadium. Solid food every time. Always got the Brewer's game on. ”
“ Had an enjoyable lunch at Valley Inn, formerly Hutterer's Hut from back in the day. I used to live across the street when I was a little girl and a good part of my extended family lived within a couple of blocks. This place was the go to bar for my grandpa and uncles. It's the exact same wood bar I remember from back on the late 1960's!. The place has been run by the original owners son for years and I had a great time catching up with him. He even still remembered many of my family members by name! Great service and food! We had fish...because it's Friday and I don't live in Wisconsin anymore and miss Friday fish frys! Looking forward to making this a regular stop each time we visit. ”
“ Awesome place to go for good food and good service. The food here is very good and I liked the atmosphere. It is family friendly and is well lit during the day. Love supporting local businesses that are good! ”
“ Was driving down Wisconsin Ave a couple days ago listening to a 'Best Burgers in Town' talk radio conversation on WTMJ radio. Somebody called in this place and I whipped a hard right and walked in to check it out. I had already eaten so just took a quick peak at the menu and decided I had to come back. On the way out I struck up a conversation which 5 retired guys all wearing military gear and asked them how the food was. One guy who was cartoonish said the food was ok but the clientele was much better! Made me giggle as they were obviously regulars. Went back today for lunch with three 24 year olds who are relatively new to the east side. Thought they needed to see some MKE history. Food was awesome. One commented that there's no place on east side where you'd get two 1/3 lb patties on a pretzel roll for $10. Fries were good. Extensive menu - fried chicken , Reuben's and Mexican too. Daily specials. Everybody loved the burger. They have tots and sweet potato fries too. Regular fries were awesome. We all cranked our necks when a huge burrito was delivered to the table next to us. All of us will be returning. ”
“ Hidden neighborhood bar/ restaurant with fantastic pizza. Thin crust, not to saucy lots of cheese, great tasting sausage. ”
“ Sometimes when I'm on my way home from downtown, my instincts take over and my car automatically guides ourselves to Valley Inn in Pigsville. Don't ask me where it is. I cannot find Valley Inn in the daytime. It's somewhere under Wisconsin Avenue. You can't get there using any GPS or Google Maps. You only can get there on instinct and intuition. And once you do find it, you're in for a great evening with most down-to-earth and friendly locals Milwaukee has to offer. This is just a great, old school hometown bar somewhere north of Miller Park, but south of Harley-Davidson's Highland Avenue plant, a little west of the Domes, and east of Wauwatosa. Find it. You'll be glad you did. ”
